Client Success Story
Edmund Washington opened the first location of No Grease, a men’s luxury barbershop, in the Greater Charlotte area of North Carolina in 2020. On the heels of his initial success, he pursued opening a second location. Edmund sought capital from a national bank. “I had good credit, personal and from the business, and I had the collateral, but the loan officer denied me over the phone,” he says. “They didn’t even look at my application.” He took his business plan to PCAP, who secured the funds to open his second Charlotte location. “PCAP believed in me and what I could accomplish,” says Edmund. “I’m in the position to expand and elevate the business.”
