Malik is a loan operations specialist for the NC Rural Center’s lending programs, responsible for documenting for CornerSquare and our Small Business Capital team. He joined the Rural Center  in 2024 as a temporary employee before becoming a permanent member of the team in 2026.

Malik has been in North Carolina for all of his life, first in Pitt County before moving to Johnston County in 2021. Outside of work, Malik is a homebody, spending time playing his numerous instruments (piano, drums, and guitar, just to name a few), or researching the latest technologies. Aside from that, he also enjoys spending time with his church family.
