J Farrar

J serves as a loan operations manager for CornerSquare Community Capital. He has more than 10 years of operations experience, holding various positions throughout his career. He has also co-created with various community groups and nonprofit organizations on a volunteer basis. 

Some of J’s responsibilities include reviewing final loan closing packages from lenders for completeness and adherence to guidelines prior to loan funding. He also provides training for members of the team to have a working knowledge of the program’s accounting requirements, functions, and procedures, and the program’s loan servicing and investment processes.

J is a native of Pittsboro and graduated from North Carolina Central University in 1997.
